1. Kalahari Game Farm
1.1 Location of the farm:
The farm is situated the area know world-wide as the KALAHARI. The farm also has an airstrip on the property of 1.3 km plus 300m extension.
1.2 Title Deed Descriptions.
The farm consists of twelve title deeds, and covers an area of 12 500.000 hectares.
1.3 History of the farm.
This premier safari company was established in 1968, and today it remains one of the only family owned and operated hunting companies of this magnitude in the world.
This vast piece of land is one of the only privately owned game ranches in the southern hemisphere to hold the big 5.
The farm also holds 28 different species of plains game.
1.4 Rainfall
The average rainfall for this area is 250mm to 300mm per year.
1.5 Temperature
Winter season starts late in April, ending around September. The winter days are fairly mild and the evenings tend to cool down a bit, sometimes below zero. June and July are the coldest months. Summer months are October till March.
1.6 Vegetation
The farm has typical Kalahari vegetation. The sand is very soft and loose. It is of a yellow / red color. The farm is measured at 1000m above sea level.

2. Infrastructure
2.1 Lodge
The Lodge consists of stone formation buildings with thatched roofs
The 4 chalets each have 2 beds, built in cupboards and en -suite bathrooms.
The other 3 chalets are the family chalets and each has a minimum of 4 beds, built in cupboards and en-suite bathrooms.
There are 2 lodge homes, built in rock formation and thatch roofs.
The lodge consists of 3 fully equipped kitchens. The main kitchen has a large scullery area and pantry. The kitchen is adjoined to the dinning area.
There are 4 lapas and a large games room which is characterized by trophies hunted on the ranch.
2.2.1 Dip and Pack
The farm also has a Dip and Pack facility.
2.2.3Coldrooms
The farm has two large walk inn cold rooms and one large freezer facility.
2.3 Lion Camps
There are 15 breeding rooms ranging from about 5m2 to 7m2 with sun and rain protection.
There are 6 livable homes on the farm.
2.4.1 Staff houses
There are 7 staff houses. We are in the process of building more houses. (The building of the houses is included in the price)
2.5 Boma
2.5.1 Animal Boma
The Animal Boma on the farm has been designed to limit the handling of the animals. All the compartments are linked to a passage which leads to a loading ramp.
2.5.2 Elephant Boma
The Elephant Boma is made up of strong cable. Once the elephants arrive at the farm, the elephants are placed in the Boma for a few days.
2.6 Water facility and Dams
Water is available by water trofts and semi natural pans.
2.7 Fences
The farm is enclosed in a game fence. 2.5 m high with 23 strands. The entire length is electrified.
2.8 Roads
The road from the entrance of the farm to the lodge is in good condition and is accessible with a 2x4 vehicle.The farm roads or more sandy and one would need a 4X4 vehicle to get around.There are roads leading to all the waterholes and around the fences. The farm is also divided into blocks by roads, this also makes game viewing easier.
The farm boasts with a huge variety of game, such as lions, white rhinos, Cape buffalo, elephants, leopard, giraffe, kudu, blue and black Wildebeest, springbuck, waterbuck, red hartebeest, zebra and many other species. The approximate value of the game is R19,73 million
4. Moveable assets:
The movable assets include several utility vehicles, trucks, heavy machinary, animal transport crates, trailers, tractors, quad bikes and a fire fighter.
